On Annual Leave Today

Yeh!!! On leave today. 'Loan' Yee Hwee for a day from my aunty since she's having school vacation this week. The 4 of us, my hubby, my mum, Yee Hwee and me watched 'Alice in Wonderland' at Marina Square. Should have paid half of the ticket price as I slept throughout the show, hai... waste of money.


We had lunch at 'Xing Wang Taiwan Cafe' along City Link before sending Yee Hwee off.

My mum came back yesterday from Cameron Highlands and brought back 8 of these delicious fruit. It is our first time seeing it, is very juicy and taste very much like honeydew. And guess what, even my hamsters like it too.

Music Survivors Concert

Me & my hubby attended Yee Hwee's Piano concert at the Young Musician's Society (YMS) yesterday. It was the second performance that we attended since 2008. My mum did not went as she was away in Cameron Highland trip, though she hesitated to go as she will miss it.
Yee Hwee passed her grade 5 exam with distinction last year and this year she will soon be taking her grade 6 exam.

Her first performing piece is 'Waltz in A Minor'.


Her second performing piece is 'Staccato Beans'.


Well done Yee Hwee and you have put up a great performance, keep it up! Jia you!

Watching Letters to Heaven 20 Feb

Is finally here, the episode 7 of 'Letters to Heaven' featuring Molly and Me.
My hubby and me bought dinner to my parent's place to watch the programme together. I wanted to watch it with my mum as the story is about the 3 of us (Molly, mummy and me). Both me and my mum cried throughout the show. After watching the episode, I would say that I am quite disappointed on the acting for the on-screen me aka 'Jie'; because alot of screens were being edited. And this 'Jie' has got quite a few years of experience some more. To me this drama was more like my mum writing the letter to Molly instead of me, whereas Annabel (acted as Molly) was pretty good even though this is her first acting. For me, as long as there's Molly I'm already contented, especially at the end of the programme featuring so many photos on the 3 of us.

Is the eve of LNY, the four of us(my mummy, Josef, my hubby & me) visted Molly. Aunty Jean & family joined us too.

My Unique Dress

I have this particular 'unique' dress that whenever I wear it, people around will tend to ask whether I am pregnant; from the toilet cleaner till the coffee aunty working next door.
And this morning while walking to the LRT station I casually brought this up to my hubby again. Before stepping into the train, I was thinking to myself whether the commuters will mistaken and think that I am pregnant and offer me a seat. So once i stepped inside the cubicle I stroked my tummy, walked very slowly and stand near the door. Guess what? A kind hearted aunty actually offered me the reseved seat, thinking that I am pregnant. Hahahah.....so funny.


This is my 'unique' dress.
