My friend, ah fang smsed me 2 months ago telling me that Molly was featured in Sep/Oct of Lifewise magazine. She saw the article when she send her son to the clinic. I told Josef about it and was glad that he was able to find the magazine at the library :)

Our Genting Trip from 1 - 3 Nov

Last Saturday, 2 famlies-7 of us spend our
weekend at Genting Highland.
We took the 6:45am coach at Golden Mile Complex
.

We reached Genting at around 2pm and we had our tea break at the cyber cafe.

Our dinner. A vietnamese waitress approached our table introduced a couple of vietnamese dishes claiming it was better than chinese food; we were doubtful at first and we should have stick to our doubts throughout cos the dishes really sucks!

After our not so wonderful dinner, we decided to pamper our tummy; we bought 2 slices of yummy cake from Coffee Bean. You can see that we are concentrating and busy selecting the cake we want :p

I enjoyed the weather there, the above scenery were taken at our room window on Sunday morning. Doesn't it looks like a painting?

Coincidentally we met both Uncle Meng and his wife there. The 'dim sum' breakfast was on Uncle Meng as he had won some money playing the jackpot, very lucky for him and lucky for us too (our tummy)! The 'dim sum' breakfast was very delicious; and we can't even finished the food.

We (my hubby and me) brought Yee Hwee to the outdoor theme Park Only Yee Hwee and me took the rides, my hubby was the photographer. Yee Hwee like the "Spinner" but not for me as I felt giddy after taking the ride, I think I'm old liao :(

.

We took the "Pirate Ship" too and my legs were jelly after the ride, very lousy!

Yee Hwee tried to hood the duckling and she didn't managed to win anything.

We had our "Matahari" ride; this ride suites me best; it was slow and relaxing.

While at the Dinosaurland; supposingly to take a boat ride around the attraction but due to the slow moving queue, we decided to walk around it instead. We didn't see many dino, just a couple of mini lizards and a weird looking over grown snake. Yawn~

Lunch at Marry Brown after all the tiring rides.

Monday morning, we have a clearer view of the mountain and the clouds look so puffy.
We left Genting around 3pm; broke but happily heading back to Singapore; I really had an enjoyable time out these 3 days especially with all my love ones. Will be looking forward to another similar trip in near future.

Molly, how I wish that you are still around to travel with us. Even through you can't join us physically, I believe that you are in heaven looking down and sharing the joy with us.

My Mood Antidote

Dark chocolate is a 'must have' food when I am feeling down or stress. Two days ago as I was feeling a little moody, I took 2 tiny bars of Merci Dark Cream chocolate. The chocolate did cure my mood but I had a sore throat after that :(

Here's something which I came across on the web.

The 5 Benefits of Dark Chocolate:

  1. Studies have shown dark chocolate to lower blood pressure.
  2. Studies have also shown dark chocolate to lower bad cholesterol (LDL).
  3. It turns women on more than a passionate kissing session (no wonder they want it for Valentine's Day!).
  4. Contains serotonin, a natural mood-boosting anti-depressant.
  5. Stimulates pleasure-inducing endorphin production.

Oh Shit!

I always have this thought that bird will only shit during the day but I was wrong.
Last night as we were travelling
along Upper Serangoon road, our car 'kana' this huge bird shit on our windscreen. I think the bird must have had over eaten and 'lau sai'.

Sanrio Festival

My $19.95 Hello Kitty Bag.

I was at the Sanrio Festival at Takashimaya Talking Hall during my lunch time. I am definately not a fan of Hello Kitty and also too old for that cute little cat but guess what; I actually bought one bag from there! I have been looking around for a suitable bag to carry my new bible and 2 files for my weekly Sunday church, the bag has to be tough cos the bible is quite heavy though. After getting the bag, I began to feel like a 'Lau Lian'; still cannot believe i own a Hello Kitty bag.

P.S Spend $100 and you can become a member.

Molly, Me & Our Blouses

Molly and me at my grandparent's kampong house.
My grandmother bought the blouses for us when she went on a holiday at Philippine. It was a very comfortable piece of cotton embroidery
blouse which both of us would wear very often when we were young.
