Our Genting Trip 28 - 30 May 2010

On the 28th May morning at Tanjong Pagar train station, 14 of us took the 7:45am train to Kuala Lumpur. After a long journey, we reached KL station at 4pm and after which we took a cab to Genting, took around an hour that cost about RM80.

The weather this time round is not as cold as before, but it did rain on the second night. As it was a long weekend, all 6300 hotel rooms at Genting were fully booked according to the cabby. I met my sister's friend, Zhangfang there and she was with her family. And also met my colleague Fiona for her concert. What a small world.
This is the most tiring trip I have had so far, will definitely take a coach next time.

2 More Birthday Gifts

This year I got the most gifts for my Birthday. These 2 gifts were both from my cousin Ah B & her mum and were special delivery to Genting by hand from Uncle Meng and his wife.

Thank you Uncle Meng, Auntie & Ah B for the Gifts.

My Little Birthday Cake

My Surprise Birthday Present

I received an early birthday present from my hubby tonight. It is a Kate Spade bag from the Barrow Street Anabel series. It came as a surprised. I was working slightly late around 8pm and my hubby came to look for me. He turned up at my office doorstep and surprise me with the present. The gift was nicely wrapped up in a big purple and orange color box. The original bag my hubby bought was actually a black and white one, slightly taller and slimmer in shape, i prefer a broader one so I got it change an hour later before the shop closed.

Here's a description of the bag i've found from their website; a quintessential west village byway, barrow street casually broadcasts the charms of its intimate neighborhood, from historic brick townhouses to pocket-sized gardens. it even has its own little theater, a star of the off-broadway scene- and the inspiration for the clean lines of this slouchy tote. Built in smooth nylon, this lightweight zip-top bag is an ideal everyday carryall for magazines, as well as a pair of converse or market finds.

I would like to thanks my hubby and my mum (it's a shared present from both my love ones) for the wonderful birthday present.

Flower Arrangement For Molly's 2nd Anniversary

Today, my mum and I went to the church to do flower arrangement service for God; and also remembrance for Molly's 2nd anniversary. It is my first time doing flower arrangement in my church; i remember the lasted time I did was around 6 years ago when I was still working as a freelancer. We managed to finish the task with the help of 2 church sisters. I'm so proud that me and my mum was able to complete this arrangement all by ourselves. To me, it might not be the most beautiful arrangement, but it is definitely the best one I ever done.

Our Batam & Nemo Island Trip 8-9 May

Assembling at the HarbourFront for our 2 days 1 night trip to Batam and Nemo island. Uncle Berry and his wife, my mum, my hubby and I joined my godmum and her 'tai ji' students for the trip.

We had our lunch at this restaurant called Saung Sunda Sawargi, i particularly enjoyed the kampung chicken as it was tender and most importantly, no fats :)

Waiting at the jetty for our sampan boat to Nemo island.

Each of us took a trishaw ride that brought us around the island.

We stayed one night at the KTM resort in Batam. The couple sharing cottage that we stayed in was very small, I prefer the other type which is the village cottage(can accomodate 4 pax) that my mum and godmum stayed in.
