Feast No. 2 - HanSang Korean Family Restaurant
17 Jan 2009, 5:30PM
After visited Molly, we proceed to Aunty Jean's house and soon after we headed for our feast number 2. As Aunty Jean wanted Korean food so I suggested a Korean Restaurant at Square 2 since I have been there with Molly and Desmond before. The restaurant is call Han Sang Korean Family Restaurant located at Square 2 and we had the 'Da Chang Jin 大长今' dinner (~wu da la...).
The waitress served us side dishes, which almost filled up the entire table (just like the scene in 'Da Chang Jin'), it just kept coming and coming. Good thing is all the side dishes were served in small portion, so that you need not have to worry about getting your tummy filled up before your main course ; ) . I particularly enjoyed their Gamasot Bob (similar to our glutinous rice), it is being cooked in stone-lines bowls and serve with slices pumpkin, dates and sweet potota. Woah, what a feasting day we had.
Aunty Jean and Uncle Sikang we did enjoyed the food and thank you for the wonderful feast :)
Red Gerbara For Molly
Feast No. 1 - Crystal Jade
17 Jan 2009, 11:05AM
The 4 of us (my mum, Desmond, Josef and me) went for our brunch at Crystal Jade in Tampines Mall. Half way through our meal, my mum weep, we knew the reason, she must be thinking of Molly. I felt sad when I saw her cried. When Molly was still around, Crystal Jade was her ideal place for dim sum; one of her favorite was the century egg porridge.

Zainal's Last Day
Today marks Zainal's last day of his 16 years of service in Metro, after Zainal left there will be only 2 of us (Soon Teck aka Xiaodi and me) in the department. I think life is going to be tough without a department head :)
Two days ago before Zainal's last day, we(Alice, Nicolas, Soon Teck and me) took photos with him.
Zainal, I'm going to miss the laughter, jokes and gossiping that we share but I'm sure we will meet again. Here's wishing you the best in whatever you do :) Take care!

The World's Smallest Mum
Watched this programme on Okto channel last night on this 19 years old mum named Cristianne. Standing at 2ft 9inches, she is the world's smallest living mum to give birth and she suffer from a rare bone condition whereby her bones did not grow to full adult size. While she has normal size organs and muscles, they are compacted into a small space. Click here to read more about her.

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
We (my mum, Desmond, Aunty Jean, Uncle Si Kang, Yee Hwee and me) went for another hiking trip at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Both Aunty Jean family and we enjoyed hiking and we have so far explored quite a few nature reserve. Before we began our hike, we had some energy booster from Aunty Jean; she prepared fried bee hoon for us ~ Thank you.
After the tiring walk, we went for our lunch at one of the coffee shop in Jurong. We had a curry feast from this store call "Nan Nan", they serve only curry dishes. We ordered curry veggie, curry chicken and their signature dish, curry fish head which was quite delicious. And I don't even have any guilty feeling when I ate the curry cos I had worked out very...hard in the morning :)

Garden Of Remembrance
Today, we (my mum, desmond, aunty jean, uncle si kang, yee hwee and me) visited Molly.
Someone bought Molly a pot of beautifully white roses.
These are the flowers which I have bought for Molly not sure what's the name for it.
My mum, desmond and me went to Thai Express at Jurong Point for our dinner. We had Tom Yum Seafood soup, Kang Kong veggie with shrimp paste, Curry Soft Shell Crab with rice, Phat Thai Vege and Crispy Pancake. It was simply delicious, we fully enjoyed all the dishes especially the Tom Yum seafood soup (it was my favourite); is a must order dish whenever I patronize there, though it is hot and spicy, it makes you want to have even more.

Faber Walk
Today, we explore Faber Walk. Yee Hwee stayed over at our place the night before and we plan to meet up with her parents; Aunty Jean and Uncle Si Kang at the Seah Lim hawker centre to begin our Faber Walk expedition. I always enjoy this sort of outing especially with Yee Hwee around, she is so fun to be with.
Last Day Of 2008
The last day of 2008 began with a beautiful morning sky.
In the evening, my mum brought Yee Hwee to our place to stay for a night cos the next morning we are planning to go hiking at Mount Faber with her parents. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza for our dinner which was Yee Hwee's favourite, she so enjoyed (check out her expression above). After our dinner both of us played online games till midnight 1am in the morning before heading to bed.
