The Announced Of Molly Lee Appeal

This morning, Josef, Theresa Tan(ex senior editor of Vanilla Magazine) and Dr Chia Yin Nin of KKH appeared on PrimeTime morning programme, as part of Channel News Asia's Singapore Woman Award week of publicity and also to announce on 'The Molly Lee Appeal'. This 'Appeal' is targeted specifically for women age between 18-50 who suffer from woman's cancer; and it is holding it's first photo exhibition fund raising event at the end of May.
I really wish and hope that this event will be successful, with Molly's legacy continues to help and inspire others.

My New Friends

Hi! Meet my new friends, they are Mickey and Minnie. These 2 little cute creatures were given by my colleague, Joleen, they have been with us for about a week. It took me quite a bit to get used to them as they always chew and bite on their cage in the middle of the night. In order to overcome that, I will move them to the guest room before going to bed.

Birthday Celebration x 3

April is a birthday month for 3 of my loved ones, my hubby's birthday is today, my mum's birthday is tomorrow and Yee Hwee just celebrated her birthday 2 days ago. We decided to celebrate it at Crystal Jade Xiao La Mian and Xiao Long Tang Bao restaurant at Great World City together with Aunty Jean and family. Aunty Jean specially bought a marble cheese cake for my hubby and my mum, very delicious.
Thanks Aunty Jean for the cake and not forgetting my hubby for the yummy meal :)

Allegic To Chinese Medicine

Over the long weekend, I came down with a fever and gastric problem. For 3 consecutive days, I have been taking the western medicine but didn't seem to improve much. Desperate to recover fast, I decided to try TCM to get rid of my bloatedness which is causing much discomfort. 2 days later, I got a shock when I looked at myself in the mirror, I had a 'sausage lips' and itchy swollen fingers and toes! I think i had a drug allergy to the TCM medicine.

Icing Room @ Jurong Point

Birthday is just around the corner for Yee Hwee and her mum brought her to The Icing Room @ Jurong Point to let her DIY her birthday cake yesterday. The Icing Room is actually a new addition to the reputable BreadTalk family branch. In order to decorate your cake, you have to buy the standard cake base, it comes in 3 sizes, the smallest 4 inches ($11.80), 6 inches ($20.80) and for the biggest 8 inches ( $28.80).

To pay $28.80 for an empty cake with only some colour whipped cream & icing sugar flowers is pretty expensive. But I do agree that this is a good and personalise gift for birthday or to someone special. Yee Hwee the birthday girl was so excited as she was able to decorate her own birthday cake. Not only she enjoyed decorating her 8" cake, me too enjoyed it very much.

My dad was with us(my mum, Desmond & me) when we visited Molly today, these flowers was from him and it was his first time buying flowers for her.

My mum's Birthday

Next Sunday will be my mum's birthday. During our conversation, she mentioned that it will be different this year as Molly is no longer with us. I consoled her and told her the gifts that I buy for her from this year onwards will be share by Molly and me. "Molly and me will settle all the outstanding payment for the gifts till we meet in heaven" I said. My mum laughed hearing that, and this is just little things which I can do, just to make her laugh again.

Lemon Power

I have been using lemon to cleanse my office kettle for all these years, and the power of lemon is simply so amazing. Check out the before and after effect :)

*recommended action: lemon must be cut into small pieces and let the it boil twice in the kettle and you will see miracle result, good as new.
