to stay strong for my loved ones. to keep my heart open to dreams. For as long as there's a dream, there is hope, and as long as there is hope, there is joy in living.

A Visitor
Today I had a special visitor name Huiyin; she is a freelance Researcher and Script writer from August Pictures Pte Ltd, a production company comissioned by MediaCorp channel 8 to produce a 8-episode upcoming chinese docudrama series "Letter to Heaven" which will be televised Janauary 2010. I have given her the letter (in chinese) write up and she's here today to find out more details and indepth relationship between me and Molly . Having to write in chinese is never an easy matter and proven to be quite a challenge for me; as I constantly require to refer to the chinese-english dictionary. I spend around 2 weeks drafting and writing it till 1am in the morning for almost every night.
The content will forcus on how me and our family tried to move on, updates, reflections on relationship, and well wishes to Molly. Once the letter is confirmed, I will be interview on TV in Mandarin (i really wish) and my letter will be unfold through re-enactments, dramatisations and with symbolic shots, in tandem with voice-overs of first-person narrations taken directly from the original letter.
Of course, I will want Mediacorp to confirm on my letter as it will be a very special gift for my mummy and me. But if they rejected I should be able to get over as I had already tried my best.(finger cross)

Our Favourite Drink
Do I Look Like An Aunty???
Over the last weekend was the yearly Metro Expo Sale, all the executives & above in Metro were required to be on duty either on saturday or sunday, we have to draw lots for it. We were being assigned to station at a designated cashier counter as a 'packer' to help the cashier. It was pretty interesting, you can see all sorts of customers; some asked for more carrier bags, acted like you owe them money, very demanding. Then came an old man in his 60s, he bought quite a bit of stuffs, as I was packing his goods into the carrier bag after the scanning. His wife handed 3 big granny panties
to the cashier, after being scanned, the cashier passed it to me, and I put it together with the rest of the purchase. The old man shaked his head and looked at me angrily and said "Aunty, the packet of food (please see picture below) is use for praying, how can you put the panties together with that"?
I was dumbfound upon hearing, I calmed myself down and did not said a word. I told myself "No...better 'tahan' and keep quiet, don't create trouble". I then packed the packet of nuts into another smaller bag and gave it to him and said it loud and clear "Thank you, Uncle", the funny thing was that he throw the packet of nuts back into the same bag, isn't it the same? And till now I'm still thinking do people offer nuts to their god. hmm...
Is not easy being a sales person as you may encounter nasty, unreasonable customers and you probably need to have lots of patience for that no doubt there are some good ones too :)

Hurt Locker
Me & my hubby watched Hurt Locker at Cathay Downtown East. The movie is great, it is an intense portrayal of elite soldiers (I like soldiers movie) who have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world: disarming bombs in the heat of combat. When a new wacky sergeant, James, takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge, by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. James behaves as if he's indifferent to death. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever. Nice.

My parent, my hubby and me visited Molly today and my mum actually bought carnation for her.
'Why did you buy carnation?' I asked.
'No I did not. This isn't carnation', she denied confidently.
Yesterday at the florist, the florist asked her if she wanted carnation? And my mum replied 'No', but somehow it turns out to be carnation. She is so funny, and blur blur like a sotong :)
