Birthday Dinner At Hill Top Restaurant
I had a teppanyaki dinner (pre-birthday treat) at Hill Top Restaurant located on top of Jurong Hill near Jurong Bird Park. It was our first visit for my hubby and me there. The restaurant serves Indonesian food during the day & Japanese at night. The place is hidden on top of a hill with a fabulous view on Jurong Island. The place gives me a 80's sort of feel with old deco and retro interior. We went there with Aunty Jean's family, the food is ok but pricing wise abit ex, the total bill was $219 which I think was far too expensive even though there isn't any service charge, and I smell like what I have eaten :(
*Thank you Aunty Jean and Uncle Sikang for the birthday dinner treat. Nice interesting location.

A year ago on the 28th May, Molly was feeling breathlessness and vomited some blackish stuff early in the morning. An ambulance was called to rush her to the hospital; it was her last trip to KK. And never did we expected that she was about to depart us.
At the hospital, Molly kept wanting to leave, she dreaded to go home. Until now after one year, my mum and i regreted of not being able to fulfilled her last wish; partly we were afraid that we might not be able to take care of her if anything happened when she is at home.
When the nurse attended to her, she told the nurse that she had a joke to tell my mum and up till today we are still wondering what was the joke that Molly wanted to say. In the hospital Molly was on drip, she was hooked to the oxygen tank that she tried to remove the mask many times. Her pain was unbearable, she was given morphine to lessen her pain. It hurted our heart to see her in that condition.
About 7plus in the evening, I fed Molly a packet of milk, that was the only food she had taken for the entire day. She could not pass urine for the whole day as her internal organs were failing on her. As her breathing got weaker every second, I prayed to god not to take her away so soon, to give her and us more time to be together. I wanted both of us to grow old together till our hair turn grey, to go shopping together, to gossip and to share our stupid jokes.
As time passed us by, we knew among ourselves in our dear heart that Molly was going to leave us anytime. I kept holding onto her hand tightly, gave her a kiss on her forehead and softly whispered, "Molly, you need not to have any worry, let go".
29th May 12:31am, Molly left peacefully.
She will stay in a special place in my heart and memories of us as sister will be lock inside of me forever. "Molly, having you as my sister is the only thing I will never regret even though we fought, we argued over many many things. Being able to be with you through your life journey was something I would cherish; till we meet again".

5 Little Hamsters
I got 5 new members in my family!! Mickey actually gave birth to 5 babies today. By the way, Mickey is a she and Minnie is a he, I purposely address them the otherway round.
I am not a good pet owner as I didn't even notice that my Mickey is pregnant :( Checking on Mickey & Minnie is always the first thing I do whenever I reach home and last time to do before I go to work and to bed. But when I reached home this evening I got a shocked when I saw 5 little pinkish things in the cage.
Guess what, Mickey starts running on tread mill after giving birth, I think she must be trying to slim down. And I will be giving 2 to my cousin's 2 little sons, they will be thrill to receive it; anyone out there would like to adopt them?

Too Tired...
Today was M&M's first outing, I brought them all the way to Jurong for Yee Hwee to play with them. They enjoyed the outing very much, and the new companies too (Yee Hwee and family). On our way back home Mickey was sleeping in the tread mill and at one point while stopping at the traffic light, Mickey, fell off the tread mill! Amazingly he continued sleeping as if nothing happens...aww poor Mickey, must be over exhausted.
And this is how Minnie sleep.
Seeing the way they sleep shows how badly they were being 'tortured' today. heehee...

Mealworm
I bought a pack of meal worm for M&M as a treat for them. I'm afraid of the meal worm even though it is not alive, by looking at it is enough to give me goosebumps. The meal worm has got lots of nutrients in it and M&M love it. Minnie took 2 and Mickey took about 10, and I get to know it today that by feeding them too much they will exactly 'lau sau' (diarrhea) due to protein overload in their system, mmm... no wonder I see wet and blackish stuff in their cage heehee...
